In September of 1998, the VAN PROJECT was launched. VBS children just south of Fresno contributed the first gift toward this vehicle. We took delivery of the VAN early in July and are putting it to heavy duty use in the Lord's Work. It cost US $30,000. We borrowed the last $6,000 in order to make the purchase. In addition to the small loan there are taxes that will come due later this year. If you are interested in coming on board and helping to put the project over the top, please contact us at: KENSTUCKY@NEXTWAY.COM.BR

If you see this plate ahead of you,
you'll know you are following the Mission Van...

and here it is! The van arrived July 2, 1999,
and it is already in service.

The Christ is Life Church where Ken, Lori, Joe & Jeanie Stucky serve had a real problem in serving the needy people of its community.
The church is located several miles from the homes of many of its parishioners. Eighty percent of the church members don't have their own wheels making the trips to and from church a pretty big obstacle. It is often too far to walk, and the bus ride can take an hour each way. Going home from church by bus after dark exposes women and children to a dangerous environment.

The van is a tremendous answer to prayer.

Prayer is important and this is God's vehicle.

Where one or two are gathered together.

Besides shuttling folks home from church, this van will also be used for evangelism teams, work crews, emergency trips to take poor people to the hospital and the Stucky family's transportation needs. In Brazil the Mercedes diesel van is a workhorse. It will be a tool for every day use.

Alicia and Grandpa Joe report
that the seats fit just fine.

Jessica and Alicia welcome all to come in
and enjoy the van (15 at a time please!).

AT LONG LAST THE VAN AT GOD'S WORK!!
