THE WORK AT ALFA GOES ON
UPDATED 6/12/2002
The towers and trusses are up. Now for placing the roof. These "tiles" may look like
corrugated iron but don't you believe it! They are solid pre-cast concrete. PTL no one was
injured in this very dangerous work.

AN AWESOME JOB! |
INSTALLING THE TRUSSES
The sports court at the school needs fourteen towers to support seven trusses that will hold up the
roof of the building. We do know this is a big and dangerous project. Since the roof will hold lights,
then we will have made true the old adage "MANY HANDS MAKING LIGHT WORK!"
We will keep you updated as the towers, trusses and roof become real. One down thirteen to go.

INSTALLING THE TRUSSES
MARCH 11, 2002
The big day --- the REALLY BIG JOB! Placing these steel beams many feet above the ground is dangerous work. It makes a person dizzy just to look at the pictures. PTL for safety in this process.
