Animals of the Kalahari

While on the recent trip to the resthouse the family saw several wonderful animals and got some pictures. Here they are:

 


Rhinos are very short tempered and short-sighted. This is a good thing because they did not see the bakki!


The giraffe stands lookout. Hopefully not for the Rhinos


A fine new paint job for the Zebra family.


"Hey guys, I know that bakki is here someplace."

A small creature.
A very big Stickbug!


This bug is about 10 watches long. Watches are a standard measurement in Botswana.

These are very much smaller creatures and very much more pesky. An army of ants.

 


A TRIP TO THE OKAVANGO DELTA

On a short trip to the Okavango Delta, more of God's wonderful creation was on display.

The BeeEater leads hunters to honey.

The African Fish Eagle is a splendid predator.
